On Thursday, June 1, join us for Happy Hour @ TMA featuring TMA: Handmade! This month's TMA: Handmade featured artist is Farid Matuk, a Peruvian-born poet who has lived in the U.S. since the age of six. Matuk is the author of four collections of poetry including «This Isa Nice Neighborhood» (Letter Machine Editions, 2010), which was the recipient of an honorable mention in the 2011 Arab American Book Award.

Join us on Thursday and examine the poetic process and how language paints a picture through writing prompts, readings, and gallery exploration. Grab a drink from Local @TMA which will offer a curated selection of beer and wine, buy a tasty hotdog from You Sly Dog, and dance the night away with Satyr Entertainment!

The museum will be free and open to the public from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.

TMA: Handmade is supported in part by the National Endowment for the Arts and RBC Wealth Management Foundation.
