Sonoran Muses, the traveling photo portrait artist out of Tucson, AZ will be coming to San Diego, California, Sept 7- 12th, 2017 to fascilitate wild transformational photo shoot experiences for women and men amid stunning raw landscapes around Southern Cali! It is Sonoran Muses's mission to help any person honor their sacred feminine or masculine energies by using items from nature to create a styling look with headdresses and accessories that help each person reconnect to nature… and themself.

My lovely host this year is Marie Brown who lives just a few minutes away from Mission Bay! I will be creating an inviting space for your styling right in her home! For those of you who have never done a shoot with me before here is how it works:

If you are coming from Tucson, AZ or any other area, you will need to transport yourself to my host's house for styling in San Diego, CA. If you are not from southern CA, you will need to make arrangements for your overnight stay (or drive back home after your photo shoot at night). This is not a retreat event, so I will not be responcible for trasnporting people from out of state or housing them.

As far as your styling goes, I will chat with you and develop your own personalized styling theme! We will talk about how you would like to portray yourself and come up with a styling plan together! In the past I have created a wide variety of different themed headdresses ranging from living floral crowns to feather headdresses. Our imaginations are the limit! The only requirements I have is that your shoot must be in nature and that your styling needs to match the landscape we are shooting in (woodlands or seascape).

On your scheduled session date, you and one other person will be getting your makeup and photography done on the same day but you will have individual portraits taken. If you happen to find a friend to also do a shoot with you, we can of course schedule you both on the same day and even get a couple shots of you together! Since I am driving from Arizona, carpooling is highly encouraged to and from the photo shoot locations! If you wouldn't mind driving, that would be great since you know the area better than me!

I have several beautiful beach and woodland locations in mind for these photo shoots, (including the San Diego Botanic Garden) but if you have suggestions for places to go that aren't more than 40 mins from the home where you will be styled (near Mission Bay), please let me know!

For $330 your photo shoot includes:
1. Professional makeup
2. Choice of headdress style
3. Wardrobe and styling advice
4. Gentle posing suggestions
5. 8 high-res edited digital images from the shoot

If you are interested in signing up, there will be a $100 non-refundable deposit due when you schedule your shoot date (which is part of the total amount due, not seperate). I can take deposits via paypal or I can accept cash, check or a money order. I am so excited to do these shoots in San Diego for the second year in a row! I am looking forward to seeing some of the women that I worked with before as well as making some new connections in California!
