Discover the unique plant dynamics offered by a food forest!

Food forest gardening is a low-maintenance, sustainable, plant-based food production and agroforestry system, based on woodland ecosystems. Learn how you can incorporate fruit and nut trees, shrubs, herbs, vines and perennial vegetables into a food forest of your own. You will be amazed to discover the potential your Sonoran Desert yard holds to be transformed into a vibrant microclimate.

Course Fee: FREE — This class is sponsored by the Arizona Community Challenge Grant Program through the Department of Forestry & Fire Management.
