1:30p National Lawyers Guild — Southern Arizona Chapter: Legal Observers and Civil Disobedience
The NLG will be sharing their knowledge on how, and when, a protest could benefit from legal observers. They will discuss the roles of legal observers, especially in the context of civil disobedience.
2:10p FST! Female StoryTellers
FST! Female StoryTellers was founded in 2012 as a way for women, and those who identify as women, to share their stories and their voices and to be a platform for the women of Tucson to express themselves. They work to promote feminism and equality in our community by empowering women, and people all over, to speak their truth.
2:50p Southern Arizona Gender Alliance (SAGA): Gender, Identity, and Allies in Social Justice
Join an honest discussion of the complexities of gender identity and the advocacy work of the Southern Arizona Gender Alliance. Community members will have the opportunity to learn more about our organization and cisgender folks will be invited to explore effective strategies for allyship.
