Join Ironwood Tree Experience for a 1.5 mile walking exploration along a section of the Chuk-son Trail. This eye-opening experience highlights Tucson's natural and historical stories from the El Tiradito Shrine in Barrio Viejo to the base of Sentinel Peak (“A” Mountain).
The Chuk-son Trail is a youth-inspired interpretive trail that meanders along the fascinating avenues, arroyos, and alleys of downtown Tucson. ITE Youth leaders will tell stories of the historical and natural happenings from the past and the present, and share what makes our place in the Sonoran Desert special.
